Hazard Identification
Standard Lasers
Travel in straight lines. They always give a visual warning indicator at the edge of the screen before firing. Watch the edges!
Tracking Lasers
Active after 15 seconds. These lasers rotate and adjust their angle to aim at your current position. You cannot stay still against them.
Movement Theory
Center vs. Edges
The Center gives you the most room to react to lasers coming from any direction, but it leaves you vulnerable to cross-fire (multiple lasers intersecting).
The Edges are dangerous because you have less reaction time if a laser spawns right next to you, but it's easier to dodge lasers coming from the opposite side.
Recommendation: Stay near the center, but constantly keep moving in small circles. A moving target is harder for the tracking AI to pin down.
Survival Hacks
The "Bait" Technique
For tracking lasers, move in one direction to "bait" the laser's aim, then quickly reverse direction just as it fires. This breaks its tracking prediction.
Focus on the Negative Space
Don't look at the lasers. Look at the empty black space. Navigate your square into the gaps, rather than trying to "dodge" the obstacles. It's a subtle but powerful mental shift.
