Deduction Strategy
The "Elimination" Opening
Your first guess should cover a wide range of characters. Don't try to guess the code on turn 1. Try a string like ABCDE or 12345 just to see what lights up. Information is your ammo.
Using "Brute Force"
Cipher Break features a unique Energy System. You have a "Brute Force" button that costs 25% Energy.
- What it does: Instantly reveals ONE correct character in its correct position.
- When to use it: Save it for when you are stuck on the last 1-2 digits and running out of guesses (Attempts > 4). Don't waste it early when the board is empty.
Operation Modes
Classic Mode
No time limit. Take as long as you need to calculate probabilities. Perfect for practicing your logic.
Timed Mode (60s)
Panic induces errors. You have 60 seconds to crack the code. In this mode, trusting your gut becomes more important than perfect calculation.
